How does PM Training fit the overall strategy of improving Project Management Capability?

Improving Project Management Capability is comprised of three elements: People, Process, and Tools. Training provides the knowledge for the “People” element and is where most organizations begin the process of establishing Project Management Capability as a core competence.

WGA offers standard training which may be given at the client site or in WGA public courses. Most clients want on-site training which is customized to their specifications. What type of training is required may be determined by performing a Project Management Capability Assessment at the beginning of a client engagement.

The “off-the-shelf” training products are:

• Project Management Certificate Course - 4 days: Course PMP35
  (fulfills the 35-hour requirement for the PMP^® Exam)
  Note: the 35 hours can be presented over 4-days, 4-hour sessions 3 times per week
  or any other arrangement that accommodates client requirements.
• PMP^® Exam Preparation Class- 2 Days: Course PMP14
• Microsoft Project® 2010/2007 Course- 2 Days: Course MSP14
